Phisical charateristics

The airfield has an extension of 136 ha. The runway (14/32) is 1199 mt. long and 30 mt wide. According to ICAO and Civil Aviation Authority regulations it is classified 2C. The airport is provided of markings, signals and wind indicator. Therefore flight operations can be conducted only in VFR. A refuelling station is provided only with AVGAS 100 LL fuel. There is also a small terminal with an essential traffic office, a radio operator, and fire fighting personnel. Besides this, there are the airport operator offices, the local Aeroclub headquarters and a little hangar for based aircrafts. A restaurant offers food and drinks to visitors. Inside the airfield there is also a helicopter base used by the Regional Forest Service. Many project are in progress in order to improve the airport facilities to be used for commercial purposes.
